MISS AWELEWA RUNNER-UP EMERGES AS AREWA OGUN 2016

One of the most anticipated beauty pageant in Ogun State ‘Miss Arewa Ogun 2015’ was held at DAKTAD EVENT CENTRE quarry road Abeokuta where Kikelomo Ashiru Balogun, a student of Ilaro Federal Polytechnic who also happened to be and a runner up at recently held Miss Awelewa 2015 in Ijebu-Ode was crowned by the dark skin Miss Awelewa 2015 Lawal Memunat, as queen of Arewa Ogun 2016 on Sunday, 13th Dec, 2015.

The euphoria of the anticipated event started immediately after the audition which was held Nov 1st at Iwe-Iroyin, NUJ secretariat. On December 9th the qualified contestants went on four days camping at posh Richton Hotel, Ibara Housing Estate, Abeokuta where they undergo numerous rigorous activities for fours day and series of mini competition to impress the judges and audience at the grand finale.

Bunmi Mustapha the Ogun State Bureau Chief of City People Magazine who is the brain behind Arewa Ogun and her entire crew also celebrated Global Exposure 5th Anniversary and Special Recognition Award while the event was graced by notable personalities in Rock City!

The energetic hip-hop artiste Churchill thrilled the audience alongside comedy performance by Mc Koye who recently launched a comedy album. the hosts handsome On Air Personality Tobi Joseph of Rockcity FM and beautiful Culture Ambassador Adejoke Shomoye (EWA EDE) both gave a spectacular performance as they changed into different attires, these duo are also billed to be the Host of the prestigious Egba Youth Awards MMXV Edition coming this Sunday 20th at Obasanjo Presidential Library popularly known as OOPL.
