The two Yoruba award winning actors and movie producers added a year to their days as we witness the last hours in the year 2015. Although they didn't start their movie career together but we can say they both are a jolly good fellow because of their closeness on screen and off screen.

Odunlade Adekola is a Nigerian Yoruba Actor, Singer, film-maker, producer and director. Born December 31, 1978 in the city of Abeokuta, the capital of Ogun State southwestern Nigeria. He attended St John’s Primary School and St. Peter’s College in Abeokuta where he obtained the West African School Certificate Examination before he later proceeded to Moshood Abiola Polytechnic where he received a diploma certificate.

Odunlade Adekola started acting at a very early age. According to him, whenever any anniversary was to hold in his church (the Christ Apostolic Church, Lafenwa, Abeokuta), he and a friend, named “Tunde”, would request to play jesters, and this request was always granted. He would then write a “script” for a comedy play involving just two characters (him and his friend). That was how it all began for this professional actor, director and producer. Odunlade Adekola has featured in more than 100 Yoruba movies.


The Glo and ACTV ambassador began acting in 1996, the same year he joined the Association of Nigeria Theatre Arts practitioners and he was under the tutelage of the late Nollywood actor and producer, Isola Durojaiye popularly known as Alasari. He had starred, scripted, produced and directed several Nigerian films over the years. On April 2014, he won the Africa Movie Academy Award, having emerged as best actor of the year alongside Fathia Balogun who emerged as best actress of the year.

In December 2015, He mark his entrance into the Nigerian music industry and the title of the yet to release album is "Mori're".

FEMI ADEBAYO
Femi Adebayo is a Nigerian lawyer, film actor, director and producer. He is the son of the Yoruba Veteran actor, Adebayo Salami popularly known as Oga Bello.

He was born on December 1972 in Lagos, southwest Nigeria, but he is originates from Ilorin, Kwara State. He attended theUniversity of Ilorin where he obtained a bachelor's degree in Law and a Master of Arts (M. A) degree in Theatre Art.

He began acting in 1995, the same year he featured in a Tade Ogidan movie titled Owo Blow. He has starred in several Nigerian films, quantify winning four awards as Best Yoruba actor at the 17th African Film Awards popularly known as Afro Hollywood awards at the Stratford Town Hall in London. 


He also won an award in the same category for the Best of Nollywood Broadcasting Organization of Nigeria Awards in 2012. He has a long list of movies to his credits which includes the much anticipated Sonto Alapata, Wura Ati Fadaka, Ma Wobadan and Buga(a very funny one) just to mention a few. Femi is the MD/CEO of J-15 media network Nigeria. He has masters in law.
