IJEBU-ODE RESIDENTS CRY OUT OVER INCESSANT FIGHTS AT CONFERENCE HOTEL IJEBU-ODE

Residents and teeming fun seekers in Ijebu Ode have cried out to the management of Conference Hotel to either close down the underground lounge Terrace Bar located inside the hotel or beef-up security network if they are still serious about hospitality business.

According to a customer who craved anonymity the lounge and bar of the hotel is being patronised by all and sundry and this sometimes, leads to fights. He added that "the management gradually let the lounge and bar became a new arena where all sort of guys come to ‘flex muscle’ which has been causing regular fights, thus making relaxation and hang-out, a threat to our lives"

He further explained that " some guys who claimed to be member of a particular cult group stormed the place recently and they started threatening we the fun seekers, those of us who could not withstand the ugly situation quickly picked our things and fled the arena and since then I have stopped going there till the management finds a lasting solution to the matter".

PublicFaces gathered that the reason for this ugly situation is the porous security network of the hotel.
