celebrated his 50th birthday with a big party in Lagos and as a
popular man among the elite in economic hub of Nigeria, the party drew the
presence of some big boys and girls in the Centre of Excellence.

Tit Bits on L&K
He was born in Lagos Island Maternity Hospital on
the 27th of December in 1965 to Alhaji Dauda Aremu Fowotade a.k.a (Omo Owo) and
Madam Oluranti Abeni Akiode both from Abeokuta North in Gbagura Abeokuta in
Ogun State.
He attended African Church Primary School,
Oniwaya, Agege Lagos and Ansar-ud-deen Grammar School, Otta between 1979-1984.
After his school certificate, he joined an
Aluminium Fabrication company owned by two partners but after a while the
company folded up.
After the closure of the Aluminium Company, he
enrolled for Draftsman Ship training and he became a draftsman in 1985 but he
later quit as was not satisfied with being a mediocre.
With the help of his friend, Idowu Adeolu, who
introduced him to Mr. Lawal Balogun of blessed memory, he ventured into
clearing and forwarding business. Lawal then took him to Apapa and introduced
him to Alhaji Olawale Gafar Matanmi who was the chairman of WILMART NIG LTD
where he trained as a clearing agent between June 1987 and July, 2002, he
resigned after 15years and one month of intensive training to start his own
business.
Following his resignation, he established his own
company named BILAF CARGO SERVICES LTD which obtained Nigeria Customs Service
licence in 2006 to operate as a full-fledged custom agent but before the
issuance of the licence, he was operating under NCS licence that belonged to
his dear brother Alhaji Olanrewaju Mohammed’s Lanux Maritime.
Alhaji Fowotade met his beautiful and enduring
soul mate, whom he usually referred to as ‘MY MOTHER (my all in all that stood
by me in the struggle for survival till date)’ Alhaja Azeezat Omofolake Adunni
Fowotade and they are blessed with children.
