NIGERIAN-AMERICAN JIDENNA GRABS FIRST GRAMMY NOMINATION

This is the 58th Grammy Awards and no Nigerian act on the nomination list or performing acts, even Afro-Beat legend son Femi Kuti was not nominated this year.

However, Nigerian-American singer, Jidenna has scored his first Grammy Award nomination. 

The Epic Records act bagged his first nod as the 2016 nominations’ list is released. He is nominated in the Best Rap/Sung Collaboration category for his hit single ‘Classic Man’ which features Roman Gian Arthur. 

Jidenna will however be slugging it out with a other popular acts including Kendrick Lamar who is nominated in 10 other categories, Nicki Minaj, Big Sean and Common...
