WE’RE SET TO HOST PRESIDENT BUHARI - GOV. AMOSUN

The Ogun State Government has restated its readiness to host President Muhammadu Buhari who is expected to commission some laudable projects executed by the present administration in the State in the last five years.

The State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, represented by his Deputy, Chief (Mrs.) Yetunde Onanuga revealed this while inspecting finishing touches being given to some of the on-going projects in commemoration o fthe 40th anniversary of the State on February 3rd.

Senator Amosun maintained that his visit to A.A.K Degun workers Estate at Laderin,which consists of 2 and 3 bedroom Semi/Fully detached flats with all facilities as well as Modern Shopping Malls at Sapon, Omida and Itoku respectively was to ascertain their level of readiness for commissioning.

Governor Amosun said he was convinced that all is set for the anniversary, commending the contractors at various sites for keeping to time by delivering the projects as agreed.

Amosun promised that his administration would not rest on its oars but he would continue to deliver on its electioneering promises.

Earlier, the Special Adviser to the Ogun State Governor on Housing, Arc.Jumoke Akinkunmi who was part of the team, restated Government’s commitment in the provision of more affordable housing units for the people of the State.

She commended Senator Ibikunle Amosun for his achievements in delivering affordable housing to the people, adding that the State Government would always create an enabling environment for Public Private Partnership (PPP) on housing development.
